Pine snake

Definition of Pine snake

(Zool.) a large harmless North American snake (Pituophis melanoleucus). It is whitish, covered with brown blotches having black margins. Called also bull snake. The Western pine snake (Pituophis Sayi) is chestnut-brown, mottled with black and orange.
