Yac´ca   Pronunciation: yăk´kå
n.1.(Bot.) A West Indian name for two large timber trees (Podocarpus coriaceus, and Podocarpus Purdicanus) of the Yew family. The wood, which is much used, is pale brownish with darker streaks.
