n.1.(Bot.) A ranunculaceous plant (Anemone Hepatica) with pretty white or bluish flowers and a three-lobed leaf; - called also squirrel cups.
2.A flowerless plant (Marchantia polymorpha), having an irregularly lobed, spreading, and forking frond.
